CB Reinforcing Fillers

Polar Materials has a series of patent pending filler and sand sized products with varying fiber content suitable for use in a wide variety of applications.

The CB Reinforcing Filler is made from recycled carpet backing that is sand sized between 20 and 80 mesh, with up to 10 percent reinforcing Nylon, PP, or PET fibers well dispersed among the latex based particles. These agglomerated particles are comprised of approximately 85% limestone and 15% SBR latex. The blend of latex agglomerates and fibers imparts good tensile and crack resistant properties in cementitious products such as stucco, GFRC, precast concrete, and poured in place concrete.
